From the Review Pile #1

 From the Review Pile is a meme hosted by Stepping Out of the Page every Thursday.

The aim of this meme is to showcase books that you've received for review 

(or if you don't receive review books, any book that you own and really want to read/review) 

but haven't yet got around to reading, in order to give the book some extra publicity.

This year has been a very busy one for me, as I started the third year in a

linguistic high school, that kept me very busy with a lot to study. So the time for reading

was very little! Despite this I continued to receive/ buy new books,

 and today,from my review pile, I choose to publicize

I've always been attracted by this book! It seems like a very emotional read and I love books based on real historical facts, especially the ones based on wars/after-wars. For example I loved the Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, because these kind of books really make you think about the suffering and the pain that human beings are capable to cause.
